Dear Friends and Family,

One-twelfth of 2000 can't possibly be over already, can it? It has been a good month for us. We are constantly reminded of how God takes such good care of us--He is SO faithful!!

At the time of this writing, we continue to wait only for our long-term residence VISAs. Keep praying. Once we get it, we'll make departure arrangements. We're still hoping for a February departure, but of course we'll go with God's timing! Although not effective just yet, here is our overseas address:

• Feb. 13, Michael speaking to youth at Johnston Evangelical Free Church, Johnston, IA.
• Feb. 20, evening service at Missionary Alliance Church, Blairsburg, IA.
• mid-Feb.???????, move to Czech Republic for two years.

You are ALL invited to attend our commissioning at Indianola on Feb. 6. It should be a great time of sharing, worship, and fellowship; and possibly the last time we can see you before we move overseas. Give us a call if you need times or any other details.

Many of you have asked how Michael's shoulder is doing, so here is the report on that: although the doctor told Michael he'd never regain full mobility, God has given it. He is also ahead of schedule in re-strengthening the muscles, so the Great Physician has exceeded all of our expectations!!

Prayer Highlights

• Praise for the healing of the shoulder.
• For our VISAs to come through quickly.
• For wise packing decisions.
• For continued good health.
• For the remainder of our monthly support needs (about $150/monthly would get us to 100% of our goal).
• That the "things-to-do-before-we-go" list will shrink!
